Multi-platinum selling artist Justin Moore has elicited the help of fast-rising newcomer, Priscilla Block on his new radio single, ‘You, Me and Whiskey– available now here.

Multi-platinum selling artist Justin Moore has elicited the help of fast-rising country newcomer Priscilla Block for his next radio single, “You, Me, And Whiskey.” Written by Jessi Alexander, Brock Berryhill and Cole Taylor, the track continues to round out Moore’s signature neo-traditional twang, set to lyrics that retain a classic country twist.

“You read ‘You, Me, and Whiskey,’ and you think spring break, hookup, whatever, but for me, as a guy who’s been married for 15 years with four beautiful children, it’s about making time for your romantic relationship,” shares Moore. “Our children are priorities in our lives, but we also have to make ‘us’ a priority. That’s what the song represents to me but the best thing about Country music is that it can mean many things to many different people.” Anyone can relate to it because it’s about taking time to work on the things you really need to as a person and in your relationships,” adds Block.

Produced by Jeremy Stover and Scott Borchetta, the single follows Moore’s most recent track “With A Woman You Love,” a song that earned the Arkansas native his 11th No. 1 on US Country radio and serves as the second preview of what fans can expect from Moore’s sixth studio album, due 2023 via The Valory Music Co..

Both artists are currently on the road throughout October.

Justin Moore on His 11-Year-Old Daughter Inspiring “More Than Me

“The idea came from a conversation I had with my oldest daughter, who’s now 11. And she came home from school one day, talking about one of her little buddies that was having boyfriend troubles or something. And I’m going, “No, no, no, we’re not going there right now, it’s way too early for that.” And so it developed into a conversation that she and I had, and I said, “Look, one of these days, a long time from now, you’re going to find somebody that loves you a lot and they better love you a whole lot. They’d better get close to me, but they ain’t never going to love you more than I do. I promise you.” And so that’s where the idea came from. And then I wrote it with other parents, and so it just kind of became a love letter to my kids, if you will. I try to tell them I love them every single day, a hundred times, all of them, but they’ll have this long after I’m gone, and can play it to remind them of maybe how much.”
Justin Moore on How the Pandemic Gave a Whole New Meaning to “We Didn’t Have Much

After all this stuff hit us and we were sent home, and we watched the world change around us, and we were all not at home in our area, but at home, home… it magnified what I thought about it before. We had Tracy Lawrence on my podcast a while back, and I was talking to him because we were on tour when this all hit us together. And he said, “Man, it’s made me live an even more simple life than what I thought I had lived, in a simple way.” He goes, “We’re literally borrowing eggs from our neighbors and all that kind of stuff. It sounds cliche, but we’re really doing that.” And I thought, “Man, that’s a great thought.” I don’t know, I just thought people would relate to it on an even deeper level, because I’ve learned over the years with different songs, if it’s something I’m going through or something I can relate to, then usually there’s a lot of people out there in the same boat.

Straight Outta The Country

Justin Moore is set to release a new eight-track collection – Straight Outta The Country (The Valory Music Co.) on Friday 23rd April, as announced earlier today (3/25) on The Justin Moore Podcast sponsored by Bobcat in the US – the new music channels the Arkansas native’s rural upbringing and signature honkytonk sound.

The news comes as lead track “We Didn’t Have Much” enters the Top 30 at US Country radio and sets the tone for the mix. “She Ain’t Mine No More” and “Hearing Things” are stamped with Moore’s southern drawl and traditional storytelling, and “You Keep Getting Me Drunk” showcases Moore’s incredible vocal range. “Consecutive Days Alive” is a rocking reflective ode to the past, while “More Than Me” is a tender love letter to Moore’s children. And, the title track, “Straight Outta The Country,” is simply a small-town anthem.

Pre-order the full project here, and listen to “She Ain’t Mine No More,” plus an acoustic version of “We Didn’t Have Much,” everywhere from tomorrow.

Moore is set to return to the live circuit this weekend, ahead of a worldwide ticketed live stream from The Barn in Nashville, TN on Sat., Apr. 17.  The set will include 90 minutes of chart-toppers mixed with new music. Get tickets here: justinmooremusic.com/tour.
