The final headliner for the 10th anniversary of London’s festival American Express presents BST Hyde Park has to be incredibly special, and so we are delighted to announce a one of a kind performer and, as Rolling Stone UK notes, the “greatest American songwriter of the 21st century”, Lana Del Rey. Her huge headline show takes place on Sunday 9 July, with special guests to be announced. Since the release of her major debut album Born to Die eleven years ago, which featured the viral hit “Video Games,” Lana Del Rey has captivated audiences globally. The remix of “Summertime Sadness” gave Lana her first Top 10 US hit. Her second album, 2014’s critically acclaimed album Ultraviolence with singles “West Coast” and “Brooklyn Baby”’ followed. Her subsequent albums include 2019’s Grammy-nominated Norman Fucking Rockwell!, 2021’s Blue Banisters, and 2023’s Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, which hit No.1 in the UK last month.

Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd is Lana’s 6th UK number 1 album and is the fastest selling album of 2023 in the UK. BST Hyde Park will be one of the first places to hear tracks from the new album live, alongside much loved classics.

Having embarked on 5 headlining tours, Lana has performed at the biggest festivals across the globe, including Coachella in 2014 to seven Lollapalooza festivals internationally. Her Summer 2023 BST Hyde Park gig sees Lana’s highly anticipated return to the London stage.

Lana Del Rey joins the previously announced legendary BST headliners: P!NK (24 + 25 June), Guns N’ Roses (30 June), Take That (1 July), BLACKPINK (2 July), Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band(6 + 8 July) and Billy Joel (7 July), making this another stellar year for the hugely popular London festival.

2022’s BST Hyde Park saw three monumental weekends of music; the Rocketman himself Elton John performed as a part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, The Rolling Stones were reunited with Hyde Park for two incredible sell out nights, with an emotional and triumphant tribute to the late Charlie Watts. London’s global star Adele brought it home for two shows with an incredible all female line up.  The Sunday vibes were offered up by Americana legends Eagles and Pearl Jam provided two packed nights of rock n roll. Finally, one of Britain’s best loved groups, Duran Duran, closed the final night with a day of singalong smash hits.

This summer, Pink will bring her heralded Summer Carnival tour to the UK, with dates across the UK including in London at BST Hyde Park.

The superstar singer will perform some of her biggest hits on the tour, alongside newly released material from her new album – Trustfall – releasing this month and featuring the hit single “Never Gonna Not Dance Again.”

The Summer Carnival Tour will see her headline two shows at Bolton Stadium and Sunderland’s Stadium of Light as well as a show at Birmingham’s Villa Park.

She will then play two dates at Hyde Park as part of the British Summer Time series, where she’ll be joined by Gwen Stefani.

Following an extraordinary set of dates last summer, including headline performances by Adele – BST Hyde Park is back for 2023. Bruce Springsteen and his E Street Band have announced that they will play the festival on Thursday 6th and Saturday 8th July 2023. 

Springsteen was the first act confirmed for BST Hyde Park 2023 in what will be the festival’s 10th anniversary.

The London dates will form part of Springsteen and The E Street Band’s much-anticipated 2023 international tour, which will also see them play Edinburgh’s BT Murrayfield Stadium on Tuesday 30th May and Villa Park on Friday 16th June.

The tour will be the first they’ve gone on together since 2016’s 14 month long The River Tour, which rounded off in Australia back in 2017.

This year’s BST Hyde Park included stellar headline performances from the likes of Eagles, Adele, The Rolling Stones and Pearl Jam.

The Rolling Stones have announced that they will return to London this summer for two nights at American Express presents BST Hyde Park on Saturday 25th June and Sunday 3rd July, 60 years on from their first ever show at the legendary Marquee Club in London. Tickets go on sale at 10am tomorrow.

The Rolling Stones mark their 60th anniversary this year and BST Hyde Park is the place to celebrate. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood return to the Great Oak Stage this summer, once again joined by Steve Jordan on the drums.

The Stones will treat fans to a set list packed full of classics such as ‘Satisfaction’, ‘Paint It Black’, ‘Tumbling Dice’, ‘Sympathy for the Devil’ and ‘Gimme Shelter’ but each night at Hyde Park they will include surprises from half a century’s worth of their classic hits. As always, when the Rolling Stones come to town, they will bring an incredible production and state of the art stage design.

The Rolling Stones and Hyde Park have a rich history to say the least. Their 1969 show Stones in the Park is one of the most famous concerts of all time. The concert was a magical moment in history, though the true number was never known, between 250,000 and half a million people came to see the band return to where they truly belong, back on the live stage.

They then returned just once in 2013 to open BST Hyde Park where they played two sold-out shows to 130,000 fans, resulting in an award-winning concert film ‘Sweet Summer Sun: Hyde Park Live’, directed by Paul Dugdale. This show kick-started a long line of once in a lifetime moments at the festival, including iconic performances from Celine Dion, Stevie Wonder, Tom Petty, Barbra Streisand, Carole King, Bon Jovi, Kylie Minogue, The Who, Blur, Kendrick Lamar and so many more. There is no doubt that this year’s Stones show will go down in history as well.

The Rolling Stones have also announced an additional UK date with a show at the iconic Anfield Stadium in Liverpool on Thursday 9th June 2022, part of the band’s new European tour ‘SIXTY’.
