Ingrid Andress made a deep and instant connection with her London audience at Scala.

It is easy to forget that Ingrid Andress started off as a songwriter rather than performer, given the electricity of the onstage presence that she has exhibited in recent years. It’s been nearly four years since her last London headline show at The Courtyard. That performance barely scratched the surface of her potential, paling in comparison to the emotional heft of her studio albums. Andress rewrote that score on Thursday with her emotional, vulnerable and intimate performance at Scala. Her performance was a masterclass in building a connection with her audience, yet still showcasing her star power.

The record balanced pretty evenly between her debut album and her latest record – Good Person – kicking off with the title track. Easy early highlights were provided by the boppy, summery ‘Waste of Lime’ that had the audience hollering back every word and ‘How Honest Do You Want Me To Be?,’ before she delved into her ‘sad girl moments’ of the set with acoustic stripped back versions of ‘More Hearts Than Mine’ and ‘Yearbook.’ Here, Andress has an unparalleled ability to pour emotion and vulnerability into the songs that she has covered countless times to date, making them seem like she is speaking her emotions into words for the very first time.

The real star moment of the show was provided about 2/3 of the way through the show, where Andress and her band demonstrated the depth of their musicianship, drawing out two audience requests from the back catalogue, that were neither in the set list or a readily available arrangement – ‘Pain’ and (to the audience’s delight) ‘Bad Advice.’ It was an undeniable mark of the pull she has with her fans that two songs were so keenly desired and of her musicality and likeability in not turning down the requests, creating a magical and memorable moment for all in attendance.

Andress is a captivating performer, who showed in every moment on stage, just how much she relishes and enjoys being there. It was a joyous, cathartic set that she put on display in Scala, which will doubtless have to be translated into far less intimate settings as her star grows and packs out larger venues.

Setlist

Good Person | Seeing Someone Else | How Honest Do You Want Me To Be? | Waste of Lime | Both | Treated Me Good | Boys | Lady Like | More Hearts Than Mine | Yearbook | Talk | Life of the Party | Falling For You | Pain | Bad Advice | Wishful Drinking | Feel Like This | Blue

Following the release of her debut album Lady Like in 2020, Ingrid Andress has released her highly-anticipated sophomore album – Good Person.

In 2020, Ingrid Andress rapidly rose to success with the release of her debut album – Lady Like – that was nominated for two GRAMMYs, including Best Country Album and Best Country Single, breaking through the mad noise of March 2020. Since then she has gone from strength to strength and understandably there has been a huge amount of buzz and anticipation for her forthcoming sophomore album – Good Person – out this Friday. She returns to the confessional booth that she established on Lady Like but appears to delve a layer deeper, both vocally and lyrically. Good Person offers a window deeper into Andress’ psyche – the light and the dark – exposing her soul to the world.

Sonically, the record feels like a more consciously orchestrated record than her debut, creating a cinematic sonic landscape. The title track kiss off the record – an immensely cinematic introduction, layering harmonies on an atmospheric sonic backdrop, as Andress muses on what constitutes a ‘good person,’ and whether she is one, despite the mistakes she may have made. ‘Cause I’ve cheated and lied / And made people cry / But I pray for the ones that I love every night / And I’ve shattered some hearts / And my thoughts get dark / But I’d stop for a stranger who’s falling part / I’m still learning / Good, good person.’ Returning to the co-producer’s chair on Good Person (alongside Sam Ellis, who played the same role on Lady Like), Andress claims that she went ‘a little mad scientist’ – the track pushes her sound in a newly bold and experimental direction, blending banjos with vocoders and swinging from sweeping orchestration to spare, acoustic-based arrangements. From the off, it allows Andress to infuse power into her vocal and lyricism. There’s a raw honesty on the track that is carried through on the entire record. So, the track is followed by ‘Yearbook’ that tells the story of Andress’ parents and how far they have come from where they were – in love as high school sweethearts to strangers in a house together. ‘I guess they stayed together, just because they wrote forever / On the inside of the cover by their names / They were in love, you can read it / I guess I’ve just only seen it, on a wedding card, around my father’s face / They’ve lived in the same house for almost forty years now, but / The last time they were on the same page / Was in a yearbook.’ The track feels a lot more folksy in tone than Andress’ previous records, complete with a pluckier guitar part, which succeeds in making the track feel more intimate in tone.

A large part of the record explores the different sides of relationships, from their ups to their downs. On ‘Seeing Someone Else,’ Andress sings about her partner seeing a past version of herself rather than the present version she has become, causing the couple to grow apart. ‘I think you’re seeing someone else / I think you’re seeing who I used to be / I bet you wish I was the girl that you met / Out at a bar making a mess of 23.’ The track is fierce and unapologetic in tone, and it is this voice that makes it so empowering. So too, ‘Talk’ is an immensely compelling track ‘All we do is talk about it / Never do a thing about it / Do you even care about us?’ It’s a quiet, plaintive track with Andress pleading for an answer with a lover on whether they care. On the track she creates a cinematic sonicscape, complete with a meaty strings section that infuses the energy of ‘Good Person’ throughout.

Honesty is the definitive message of the entire record and so a highlight of the record is offered halfway through on the groovier notes of ‘How Honest Do You Want Me to Be.’ ‘When you want water down whiskey / It gets easier to drink / And a spoonful of sugar / Makes the medicine sweeter / You say you want the truth, but the truth / Baby, it might sting / So how honest do you want me to be?’ It’s a driving, catchy track that would be an easy choice for a single.

A large part of the record takes the ending of a relationship as its focus. So, ‘No Choice’ is a melancholic, heartbreaking re-examination of a broken relationship and Andress’ decision to leave. ‘You watched me bend, and you let me break / Oh I thought that I was stronger, that was my mistake / Maybe I left you, ’cause you left me no choice.’ The strings part rounds out the track with a darker underbelly. Andress voice cracks through the last verse, with real and authentic emotion that brims to the surface, giving the track an enhanced resonance. On ‘Pain,’ Andress’ vocals soar as she offers a powerful anthem about growth through pain. ‘Girl, I’ve been there, yeah, life ain’t fair / It’s okay to not be alright, just go ‘head and cry / It might sound insane but I promise one day / You’re ‘gon be thanking your lucky stars for all this pain.‘ There’s a vivid sense of liberation, as Andress steps away from the pain of this toxic relationship. Here, Andress takes as her cue the classic ‘60s pop sound of writers like Burt Bacharach. “I love contrasting older sounds with modern flair,” says Andress. “Rihanna’s ‘Love on the Brain’ was an influence, too, because I love how she did that throwback thing. I wondered if there was a way that could live in the country space—how throwback can we get, but also make it country, but still fit my voice?” It’s a moment that offers a moment of reprieve, before Andress switches up the energy and begins to celebrate the power of love. ‘Feel Like This’ comes next as an introspective, but charmingly euphoric take on what a healthy relationship should look like – and then ‘Blue’ – a nostalgic track where Andress reflects on the sweet side of falling in love. ‘Thought I knew just what to call / The color of the Colorado sky / But looking in your eyes / It’s like seeing blue for the first time.’ The track brims with sentimentality and poignancy, but it’s artfully done and restrained, with traces of lap steel giving the track power. So too, ‘Falling For You’ also deals with the sweet and tentative moments of first love. Driving with a hefty drum and steady beat, the track sweeps you up in its romantic ideals.

The record rounds out with ‘Things That Haven’t Happened Yet’ – another quietly musing track offering a symphonious clash of vocals. ‘All those voices inside your head / They’re all just things, things that haven’t happened yet.’ There’s a light touch to the instrumentation here as Andress speaks to her own anxieties, in an intimate confessional booth.

Yet again, on Good Person, Andress carves out a path apart from genre, placing introspective and intimate songwriting as the heart of her music and leading out from there. As Andress herself describes, “The first album was me trying to discover who I was as an artist … and this one is just me being purely raw with what I was going through. I didn’t know what it’s going to sound like, I just stuck to the experiences I was having and it all came together naturally from being honest and processing my life.” It’s raw and real, but more than anything Good Person is immensely hopeful and it is this that makes it so charming as a sophomore project.

“‘Blue’ encompasses everything that I was feeling in finding love that is actually healthy,” Andress says. “My mind figured it out before my body did—I must be feeling this way if I’m writing it. I listened to it and thought ‘Oh, I must be in love, maybe.’ It was wild how writing the songs for this album, and the realizations I was having in real time, were changing my trajectory.”

The track will be featured on Andress’ highly anticipated sophomore album, Good Person, available everywhere August 26th (PRE-SAVE/ORDER HERE). The forthcoming LP finds Andress returning to the reflection and confession at the core of her GRAMMY-nominated debut – and plumbs even deeper. Ingrid Andress has announced that her anticipated sophomore album – Good Person – will be released on 26th August. Pre-save/pre-order Good Person here.

3x GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter Ingrid Andress has announced her highly anticipated sophomore album Good Person, out August 26th. Andress has also released “Pain” from the upcoming album alongside a music video directed by Olivia Bee. Andress premiered the new song on Apple Music’s New Music Daily just before her interview with Zane Lowe. Pre-save/pre-order Good Person here and listen to “Pain” here.

On her second album from the acclaimed singer-songwriter, Andress returns to the reflection and confession at the core of her GRAMMY-nominated debut and plumbs even deeper. Out August 26th, the album features 12 tracks, all of which were co-written and co-produced by Andress.

“Making this album was one of the most painful processes I’ve ever been through, but it was also the brightest and the best,” Andress says. “The first album was me trying to discover who I was as an artist, but the last two years forced me to really sink into what my reality was and what I was feeling. It led me to what this album is, which is me realizing I wasn’t happy and that I needed to fix it.” Andress continues, “This album not only helped me grow as a person, but also as a producer. I realized how scared a lot of people are to push boundaries and how I am not, that’s my bread and butter,” she says. “Isn’t that the goal, to discover new things? What are we doing here if we’re not trying to make new art?”

Andress has given fans another glimpse into the upcoming album with her new song “Pain,” which is out today. Andress speaks to a past version of herself in the song, reminding her that pain is a necessary and inevitable part of growing and ultimately highlights the parts of our lives where change is needed most. The accompanying music video follows Andress through a stormy period of self reflection, where she eventually discovers a budding flower, showing that with pain comes new beginnings.

“Sometimes you find yourself in situations where you know it’s going to hurt terribly, but you have to go through with it,” Andress says. “This song is a reminder that it’s ok to feel sad and unhappy, but it won’t always be that way. In a way, ‘Pain’ is the crux of the album, transitioning from the dark to the light. Writing this song was really a cathartic experience, and it made me feel understood, like I was listening to myself.”

Ingrid Andress and Sam Hunt join Kelleigh Bannen on Apple Music 1 to discuss their new collaboration “Wishful Drinking”.  The duo tell Kelleigh it’s a “sad bop” and Sam says it may be the first song he’s appeared on that he didn’t write on. Ingrid also discusses asking Sam Hunt to appear on the track, when she first encountered Sam Hunt’s music, collaborating with JP Saxe, and more.

Sam Hunt Tells Apple Music “Wishful Drinking” Is The First Song He’s Appeared On That He Didn’t Write On…
This is maybe the first time I’ve sung on a song that I wasn’t a writer on. I just haven’t connected… I just don’t connect to songs that often, I don’t know what that is or why that is, but it’s not an ego thing at all. It’s not like, I’m not going to sing on a song unless I’m a writer on it. But obviously because this song came along and I connected to it, and it’s usually the people involved in the song too, the writers, my connection to Ingrid, being a fan, and then meeting her and hitting it off and getting to experience her heart firsthand. Even though it was in a trivial interaction on the side of a kickball field, I just felt like I connected with her and I felt comfortable being on a song with her, even if I wasn’t a writer. JP Saxe, I was a fan of his as a writer. I’ve been listening to his music, admiring his songwriting for the last couple of years. It’s one of those things, back to that intuition feeling, where you just feel like, “Okay, this came together in a way that feels like I’m supposed to lean into it.” I feel fortunate and blessed that this opportunity came along.

Sam Hunt Tells Apple Music About His Songwriting Process…
My favourite songs, like you just said, are when you get the best of both worlds, when you can find an idea… And it always seems like when you try to come up with an idea for a new song, like, “Has every idea been written? I think it has.” But then occasionally, a new, cool idea will come to mind and you go into writing it. And if you’ve written for a little while in Nashville, you know when you have an idea like, “Oh, this will be a good song to bring into this room with these specific co-writers.” Some writers really lean on a hook and want to be as clever as possible and don’t lean on fill as much. And some writers are strictly led with their heart and it’s not as important to have such a catchy, clever, traditional hook. But when you can put a room together of people who appreciate both, I feel like the best songs come from those rooms.

Ingrid Andress Tells Apple Music About Approaching Sam Hunt To Appear on the Song…
I wouldn’t say I was nervous, because I’m the same or I don’t usually cut outside songs, just because if I can write something… And it is not an ego thing either. It’s just I haven’t heard things that I want to record. So if anything, I was more hesitant because I’m like, “Well, he’s a writer. He writes all his own stuff. Why even bother?” But I was like, “But I just can’t hear anybody else on it.” So to me, I was like, “Let’s just ask him and then I’ll just move on with my life and never collab with anybody. It’s fine.” Really glad it worked out because I really didn’t have any other ideas for who I’d want to be on the song. So I was just kind of like, “I guess it’s worth an ask.” So when Sam was like, “Sure,” I was like, “Really? Okay.”

Ingrid Andress Tells Apple Music About When She First Encountered Sam Hunt’s Music…
Well, I started as a songwriter in Nashville. And so I remember when Sam’s first album came out, it just was such a fresh thing for the community. And everybody was like, “What is this?” And I was like, “I don’t know.” But it was just so different and cool. And I feel like since then, it’s definitely been nice to have somebody in the country format just staying true to themselves. And that’s what I appreciate about Sam is it’s just he’s himself always, and that’s refreshing.

Sam Hunt Tells Apple Music About When He First Encountered Ingrid Andress’ Music…
I saw the song title, More Hearts Than Mine. And I was like, “I wonder what that song is about.” I couldn’t figure out how that song may have been written. And then I heard it and it was so good and so well-written, and I was just impressed and an immediate fan. Yeah. And then Ingrid and I met playing kickball several months later. And she was just… I didn’t know a lot of the people that were playing and you were so welcoming, and you had such good energy and I just connected with you immediately.

Ingrid Andress and Sam Hunt Tell Apple Music About Taking Risks as Songwriters…
Ingrid Andress: I feel like, at least for me, I never think about it as a risk. It’s more of, what would I want to listen to and what am I proud of? And that’s pretty much it. And I think it just either works or it doesn’t. And I feel like after writing a certain amount of songs, you just are like, “I’m just going to put out what I think is good, because that’s really all you can do.” Because there’s room for all different types of music out there. So I just don’t overthink it, and I just go with my gut.

Sam Hunt: I probably do overthink it a little bit. But honestly, I think it’s a matter of it eats me alive if I don’t stick to my guns or if I don’t try to follow that internal radar that’s intuitive that tells you, “Go this way, not that way.” And if I don’t follow that, I just won’t be at peace and it won’t be worth even the success I might find going down that road. I guess I’m just willing to fail following that gut instinct, whatever that is, intuition, whatever you want to call it, because I can be at peace either way. And peace is more important than success, especially when it comes to authenticity and staying true to yourself and not feeling like you’re carrying water for other people’s agendas.

Ingrid Andress and Sam Hunt Tell Apple Music About Loving a “Sad Bop”…

Ingrid Andress: You know me and sad bops, I’m here for them.

Sam Hunt: I 100% relate. They’re my favourites.

Ingrid Andress Tells Apple Music About Collaborating With JP Saxe…
It started as me just being a big fan. And I think obviously Julia, I’m friends with her. And so it was just through that, just a songwriter, fan girl moment. Because we’re all fans of each other, so we just started off that way. I adore his music and I feel like all singer songwriters have the same thing about them. And I don’t know what it is, but it’s just really fun to connect with people who live in that world with you. He’s a lovely, lovely human.

Ingrid Andress UK Tour

Ingrid Andress announces her The Feeling Things headline tour today, which kicks off this autumn in Boston making several stops across the US and Europe before ending in Oslo, Norway. The Feeling Things Tour marks the first headline tour for the rising Nashville star since her 2019 US and European tour and will give Andress the opportunity to bring her GRAMMY nominated debut album Lady Like to life.

The UK and European leg kicks off on 18th January in Dublin and includes London Scala on 25th January 2022. Tickets go on sale July 29, 2021, for a complete list of tour dates and ticket information, visit www.ingridandress.com.

“I’m so excited to bring my debut album, Lady Like, to the stage and perform these songs that have been such a huge part of my life for the past few years,” said Andress. “More importantly, I can’t wait to see all the fans that I’ve been missing for the last 18 months. As a songwriter, the human connection is one of my favorite parts of the whole experience of touring, so I’m really looking forward to that.”

In between headlining shows, Andress will rejoin Dan + Shay on The (Arena) Tour opening alongside The Band Camino. Andress plans to make her Stagecoach debut at the 2022 festival where she will perform alongside Thomas Rhett, Maren Morris, and Midland among others. In addition, the singer-songwriter previously had tour dates slated with Keith Urban and Tim McGraw and has made appearances performing on the CMA and CMT Music Awards stages, where she also racked up four nominations.

Andress released her debut album Lady Like, named “one of the year’s strongest albums” by the Associated Press in 2020. With every song co-written and co-produced by Andress, Lady Like became one of Billboard’s Top 10 Best Country Albums of 2020 and features the 2x platinum-certified No. 1 radio single “More Hearts Than Mine.” Upon its release, the album set the record as the highest streaming country female debut album of all time.

Known for her “lyrically rich, conversational and story-driven songs” (Rolling Stone), the GRAMMY nominated singer-songwriter arrived at this year’s ceremony as the only country artist to be nominated for Best New Artist, in addition to two other nominations for Best Country Album and Best Country Song. The four-time ACM Awards nominee also led the country genre as Apple Music’s pick for their Up Next Program in March of 2020, the first female country artist to do so.

2020 has been one of the most difficult, turbulent years that we’ve lived through in recent memory. Despite the lack of touring, artists have showed up in a bigger way than ever with some of the most introspective and creative albums of their careers. Here we spotlight our top 20 Country and Americana albums of 2020.

20. Cam – The Otherside

Cam The Otherside

This year, Cam made her long-awaited and majestic return to the scene with The Otherside. A pop-tinged country record with a weighty agenda, with masterfully crafted songwriting including cuts from Sam Smith and Harry Styles.

Stand-out Tracks: ‘Forgetting You When I’m Alone’ / ‘Like A Movie’

19. Maddie & Tae – The Way It Feels

Maddie & TaeOne of the surprisingly highest contenders on our list of most-listened to albums of the year. Frankly, in a year of mundanity and low spirits, Maddie & Tae brought a deliciously, frothy country-pop album filled with some really mature and thoughtful songwriting.

Stand-out Tracks: ‘Drunk or Lonely’ / ‘Water In His Wineglass’

18. HARDY – A Rock

Hardy A RockThis record has surely elevated HARDY’s career to another level. Infusing heavy-hitting rock sounds and a Southern country twang, HARDY’s debut record is a stellar pointer of things to come that embraces his more personal stories.

Stand-out Tracks: ‘A ROCK’ / ‘BOYFRIEND’

17. The Secret Sisters – Saturn Returns

The Secret Sisters Saturn Returns

Stand-out Tracks: ‘Your Life is a Record’ / ‘I’ll Be The Sad Song’

15. Hailey Whitters – The Dream

Stand-Out Tracks: ‘Southern Symphony’

13. The Chicks – Gaslighter

The Chicks returned this year with their first record in over a decade and it was worth the wait. This is perhaps the most painfully intimate and personal record we have ever heard, the harmonies as tight as ever and the songwriting transcendent.

Stand-Out Tracks: ‘Tights On My Boat’ / ‘Hope It’s Something Good’

12. Brothers Osborne – Skeletons

In a year without live music, Brothers Osborne released the most bombastic and energetic record, who’s energy leaps off the vinyl grooves. It’s simply built for a live performance, showing the duo pivot and build yet again on their previous material.

Stand-Out Tracks: ‘Dead Man’s Curve’ / ‘All Night’

11. Gabe Lee – Honky Tonk Hell

A quietly understated record, Lee’s album meanders with quiet conviction, filled with songwriting that paints a vivid and compelling picture and story. Lee’s vocal is gritty and bold, with stunning instrumentation and he’ll sure as hell be one to watch in the coming years.

Stand-Out Tracks: ‘Imogene’

10. Carly Pearce – Carly Pearce

Carly Pearce Album

Carly Pearce’s self-titled record showcases her range to full effect from the more heavily pop-overlaid ‘Call Me’ to the heavy vocals on country track ‘Dashboard Jesus’ – the scope of Pearce is laid out here and it’s immense.

Ruthie Collins Cold Comfort

Stand-Out Tracks: ‘Wish You Were Here’

7. Gone West – Canyons

Gone West Canyons

2020 was very on brand when Gone West announced that their debut album was also going to be their only record. We were so excited about this whimsical, light-touched and joyful debut and wanted more of this California country sound.

5. Ingrid Andress – Lady Like

Ingrid Andress

Andress has had an extraordinary year, with Grammy and CMA nominations under her belt, alongside a huge spotlight on her debut record Lady Like. Rightly so, having earned her stripes with huge pop cuts, Andress’ pop-country sound or as she deems it ’emo country’ puts into words the deepest parts of the human psyche and their attitude to love and loss.

Stand-Out Tracks: ‘More Hearts Than Mine’ / ‘Anything But Love’

Ashley McBryde Never Will

McBryde had big shoes to follow following her debut record Girl Going Nowhere that was a sensation. Never Will does just that, layering her delightfully vulnerable vocal with laces of rock production. NSAI have announced their 2020 Song of the Year along with the winners of the ’10 Songs I Wish I’d Written.’

The Nashville Songwriter Awards presented by City National Bank have announced their 2020 ‘Song of the Year’ is ‘More Than Hearts Than Mine’ written by singer-songwriter Ingrid Andress and her co-writers Sam Ellis and Derrick Southerland. The ‘Song of the Year’ is the top vote-getter in the voting for the ’10 Songs I Wish I’d Written’ awards, revealed on Monday, October 5, 2020.
This is the final category for the 3rd Annual Nashville Songwriter Awards presented by City National Bank, and all awards were presented in multi-part video series, with Billboard premiering key categories as the official media partner of the Awards.

“More Hearts Than Mine” was Andress’ debut single on her critically-acclaimed debut album Lady Like, which was released on March 27, 2019. The ACM New Female Artist of the Year nominee has already broken numerous long-held records since that release. She co-wrote and co-produced every track on Lady Like, which currently holds the title of highest streaming country-female-debut of all time. “More Hearts Than Mine” was soon Gold-certified, soaring to No. 1 at country radio and will go down in history as the only solo-female-debut to crack Top 20 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart last year.

Ellis is a Nashville-based Canadian songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. He has worked on a wide range of cuts by artists including Thomas Rhett, Kane Brown, Hunter Hayes, Jordan Smith, and Jacob Sartorius. Ellis has also lent his production and writing skills to numerous film and television projects, including the most recent “Farmer In All Of Us” anthem co-written and produced for the 2018 Ram Trucks ad campaign. His recent success includes the Lady A hit, “What If I Never Get Over You.”

Southerland is a platinum-selling, multi-genre songwriter. His conversational lyrics and memorable melodies appear on Grammy winner Carrie Underwood’s “Storyteller” and Kane Brown’s viral Hot 100 hit “Like A Rodeo.” He’s recently garnered a CMA “Song of the Year” nomination, MusicRow nomination for Breakthrough Songwriter, and MusicRow “Song of the Year” win. Other cuts include Hunter Hayes, High Valley, Tim Hicks, Fletcher, Seaforth and Hey Violet.
On October 5th at 11 a.m. CDT, NSAI unveiled the “10 Songs I Wish I’d Written” Awards on nashvillesongwriters.com and the NSAI YouTube channel. Congratulations to the songwriters; log on to check out videos featuring the stories behind the songs and surprise performances!

Ingrid Andress‘ eponymous debut album ‘Lady Like’ goes deluxe today, featuring three brand new unreleased songs.

Ingrid Andress Lady Like Deluxe

Ingrid Andress has today released a deluxe version of her debut album ‘Lady Like’, featuring three brand new unreleased songs and is available here. From heartache to heartbreak, ‘Lady Like (Deluxe)’ arrives with an entirely new track listing specifically curated by Ingrid to take listeners along for the journey as she pushes the pain away, tries love again, and falls back down, all while remembering exactly who she is. The result is a flawless reimagination of her debut record.

“My love life and emotions are always all over the place,” explains Andress. “And with the new songs as a part of the deluxe, I felt like this special track listing was a perfect way to let fans inside my head a little bit more.”

In addition to her newest original song, ‘Feeling Things’, the deluxe album will feature a collaboration with Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman from Little Big Town on Andress’ hit debut ‘More Hearts Than Mine’ as well as Ingrid’s own take on ‘Boys’ which Ingrid originally co-wrote for Charli XCX. To celebrate this release, fans who purchase a ‘Lady Like (Deluxe)’ bundle will receive a limited edition ‘Feeling Things’ hoodie and an exclusive ‘Feeling Things’ keychain along with the digital album download. Earlier this month, the Platinum-selling artist was nominated for a CMA Award in the New Artist category and Song of the Year category for ‘More Hearts Than Mine’. She also recently released two brand new Spotify Singles – a new take on the title track from her debut album and a stunning cover of Dua Lipa’s ‘Don’t Start Now’.

The breakout star was the big winner at the 32nd annual MusicRow Awards this year, sweeping every category she was nominated in. In addition to taking home the award for Breakthrough Artist-Writer of the Year and Breakthrough Artist of the Year, ‘More Hearts Than Mine’ also earned her the sought-after Song of the Year award.
